Bond Street Staff
Lauren Donald, co-owner of Bond Street Salon, is a Florida native with global salon experience. An industry leader, Lauren continues to expand her business by growing her network and continuing her education. Lauren is a Certified Sassoon Educator, which allows her to teach Sassoon’s fundamental cutting techniques to a new crop of stylists. She attributes much of her success to an industry defined by Sassoon’s iconic approach to hairdressing, and pays tribute to him by practicing under the name Bond Street Salon, paying homage to his first salon on London’s Bond Street, circa 1954. As a member of the prestigious Intercoiffure, an influential organization in the hair industry, Lauren is in the company of the leading and most powerful 1% of salon owners that set industry standards.
Lauren began her career at just 16 years of age, training and working with some of South Florida’s most renowned stylists. Lauren’s wanderlust first led her to London in 1996, where she immersed herself in her craft. She spent her days training under Vidal Sassoon educators; by night she absorbed the changing styles, fashion trends, and influences of one of the edgiest and most sophisticated cities in the world. It was this experience that would later lead to Lauren’s foundation for the philosophy behind Bond Street Salon.
Following her London Stint, Lauren moved to Los Angeles, where she continued to work and observe new trends and methods of cosmetology. She eventually left California and headed to Lugano, Switzerland, to continue her global education.
In 2000, she brought her skills and worldly experiences home to Florida, where she quickly developed a reputation as one of South Florida’s most talented hair stylists. Now an expert coiffeuse, the demand for her modern and chic approach to her craft grew quickly and led organically to her opening Bond Street Salon.
Since its inception, Bond Street Salon has been a culmination of Lauren’s travels, passion for artistic expression, and desire to share her abilities with up and coming stylists. The salon is a place where talented hair artisans can provide superior hair care for all hair types.
The elite environment and client-focused mentality holds stylists to a higher standard of performance, bringing out their unique talents and ultimately providing clients with an experience unattainable anywhere else.
Throughout it all, Lauren has continued to learn, grow, and develop. She specializes in cutting and styling, and remains focused on strengthening her personal craft, as well as her brand. She continues her education, currently attending classes with the Wella Academy in New York City to become a Master Color Expert. Lauren developed a complete Continuing Education Manual, 20 years in the making, designed to teach hair stylists to continue to master their craft and never become stagnant. Her life’s work is defined by helping hair stylists, old and new, perfect and master their art.
Most recently, Lauren developed a three-part haircare system which launched in 2013 and is now a national brand. Under the Sun is specifically formulated to protect hair from the elements of sun, salt, heat, and humidity. She uses the salon as a tool to formulate and perfect Under the Sun Shampoo, Conditioner, and Leave-in Conditioner. Lauren’s clients have fallen in love with her products, and they are available at Bond Street as well as online and from other retailers.
Under the Sun has given Lauren the opportunity to further her outreach within the industry she grew up in and has fallen deeply in love with. She maintains her passion for contributing solutions to hairdressers and clientele alike in the hope of cultivating new standards of beauty in an individual-oriented world.
The environment Lauren has cultivated at Bond Street Salon is true to her vision and has been revolutionary. As a result, Bond Street Salon is thriving as a leader and star in the industry, not unlike Lauren herself.

Bianca is a cutting specialist at Bond Street Salon, where she has worked full time since March of 2011. Bianca’s experiences in the hair industry extend well beyond her proper education with Bumble & Bumble, L’Oreal and Vidal Sassoon, as well as her experiences working in other high end salons, but also into her youth. Bianca embraced techniques and styles utilized by her father, a well respected stylist and salon owner in her hometown of Boston, Massachusetts. Bianca considers these early lessons to have been a precursor to the recognition she earned by the well-regarded Delray Beach Magazine as a featured stylist in 2015.
In an industry saddled with the misconception that to obtain beauty you must conceal or alter organic foundations to mimic popular trends, Bianca proves that true beauty is unleashed by harnessing it naturally. By not “fighting your hair,” Bianca creates styles that embrace the textures and uniqueness each client possesses. This technique permits her clients to have an exceptional cut with very minimal maintenance.
Jessica is a Cut and Color Specialist with Bond Street Salon on “The Avenue” in Delray Beach. Having been born and raised in Sunny South Florida, she understands the impact that Florida’s weather, its sunshine and its humidity have on her clients’ hair. Jessica also understands a client’s need to have a stylist who listens and appreciates her or his input as they collaborate on a vision for the color and/or cut of the client’s hair.
Jessica’s attention to detail, along with her desire to achieve the best result for her clients, lends itself to her cutting and coloring abilities as she strives not just for perfection, but also for the perfect outcome for each client, based upon each client’s own unique sense of style and lifestyle.
Following Jessica’s graduation from the School of Cosmetology at Indian River State College, she had the benefit of being mentored by one of Vidal Sassoon’s protégés, who in turn helped Jessica nurture and expand her natural affinity for color creation and application. Jessica continues to broaden her color horizons at Bond Street Salon as she works with Director of Education Kristina Blair, who has assisted in fine-tuning those skills.
Over the course of her career, Jessica has become a shining star in the area of cutting and coloring her clients’ hair, as well as excelling in more selective techniques such as Balayage, Color Melting and the application and maintenance of hair extensions. She has also had the good fortune to be a participant in many editorial projects, which have given her the opportunity to share her skills with a team, learn from others and have a hand in one aspect of the beauty industry that many local stylists do not have the opportunity to experience.
